The team had an amazing grind to win the provincial championship and earn the right to represent Saskatchewan at a home province Brier in Regina! This will be the fourth trip in five years for the group and the first time for Matt!

The team had to win four in a row and play back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back (yes that is five games in a row!) to claim the crown. Needless to say, we were tired in the final game, but the adrenaline was pumping and we were ready to go.

We were up against a solid Flasch Team in the final who have not lost a game to that point (first time we have played Colton since he departed the team as well). We ended up scoring a huge five ender in the fifth end, which set us up nicely, leaving us with hammer in the tenth end and Matt executing a perfect nose hit for his first trip to the "big show."

Matt was so excited he broke down crying after the victory and it was a really nice moment to see what the Brier means to competitive male Curlers in Canada. It was a special moment for him and the team and won't soon be forgotten!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to show their support, we are so blessed to be on this ride and honoured to have so many people cheering for us along the way!
