The season rolls on after a disappointing last event. We are still playing great, just didn’t get the results we had hoped. Sports can be cruel sometimes; we have taken some time to regroup, get back on the ice and in the gym and are ready for the next three weekends leading up to the Olympic pre-trials! On a high note, we once again received numerous highlight packages from local TV stations so were able to give good exposure to our wonderful supporters!

We would like to welcome POS Bio-Sciences on board as our newest supporter. POS Bio-Sciences offers unparalleled expertise and service in bioprocessing applied research from bench-top to commercialization scale; with focus on process development, analytical services and custom processing. They will be donating to United Way of Saskatoon on behalf of our accomplishments for the season. Thank you POS!

We are headed to the ‘Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic’ in Edmonton this coming Thanksgiving weekend. We start the weekend off playing Joel Jordison of Moose Jaw on Friday at 12:00pm. If you are in the Edmonton area, come on out and cheer us on! We are excited to get this event underway and play some of the top teams in Canada.

The team has recently been notified that we will be in the running to play in ‘The Dominion TSN Skins Game,’ in early January. We are 4 of the top 48 players in Canada that are seeking votes from the public in hopes of playing in one of the best events of the season! We need you support! The voting begins on November 11 and we will be sure to inform everyone on the best way to vote; the top 16 vote getters will play live on TSN in a 2 game action packed event. This season’s event will be held in beautiful Banff, Alberta. We would love the chance to play in this historic event in a beautiful town.

It is quite an honour to be among the top players in Canada, which in turn is the world. It is exciting to realize that this team is growing and has become part of the upper echelon of the sport.

Thank you all for the support so far in our short careers and thank you for the continued support going forward as we strive to become the best!
