We have had a very successful season to date. We have played a total of 5 events, with a record of 16-9, with one runner-up and 2 semi-final appearances.  That being said, we are always looking to improve and get better with the Olympic Trials now only 2.5 weeks away!

On Thanksgiving long weekend, we were in Edmonton for the Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic.  We had a great event, qualifying through the A-side and reaching the semi-final with a 4-1 record.  We once again showed the Curling world that we are here to stay and make an impact.

We just finished the CanadInns Prairie Classic this past weekend with a 3-3 record.  We played one of the best weekends of our season, but ran into a little trouble when we received 3 very untimely “picked rocks” which caused us giving up a total of 7 points and very likely our only 3 losses of the event.  Without those 3 picks we may very well went on to beat both the 2010 and 2013 World Champions; we now know we have what it takes to be the best.

We received some tough luck, but that’s sports sometimes and we are excited for redemption as we start our sixth event of the season at the Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta this Thursday morning.  We start the event off against Dean Joanisse out of Vancouver, BC.  We are looking forward to one last push before the Olympic Trials process begins.

Don’t forget we are in the running for the TSN Skins Game in January 2014.  The top 48 players in Canada look to garner votes from fans to be in the top 16 after the voting ends.  We are always looking for neat ways to market our team and get votes; if you or someone you know has an idea or an opportunity, we would love to hear it!

We would like to thank everyone once again for their support; family, friends and partners.  We could not be where we are today without you.
